I changed my home network from a 192.168.1.0/24 into a 10.10.10.0/24. I moved to N1+ wireless provided by a Cisco E4200 running Tomato RAF v1.28, and a FULL gigabit LAN. The layout is great, speeds are blinding, and all in all it wasn't as difficult as first thought, just time consuming.
I suggest any power user give the E4200 a shot paired with Tomato firmware. It will unleash a whole new world previously unavailable in a soho router.
If you decide to try it, TAKE YOUR TIME and read up on Tomato RAF. DON'T shortcut during the upgrade either. If you do it right, it will blow your mind.
