They Changed The World

Here are some things that changed the modern world.  Not all of them are devices, as some are companies.  See if you can guess what they are.  Some are obvious, some are not.  The answers to all of them are at the VERY END of this post.

I'll start with an easy one... this is a very early model, circa 1983.

Now they get a little tougher.  This is actually one of the FIRST ones ever.  Circa 13th Century.

The first one of it's kind built in 1958.

Another easy one.  Come on now, you know it well.  This is the actual FIRST ONE circa 1964.

Well, maybe it didn't change the world, but it changed MY world.  Circa 1930s.

Super easy!..1920.

Ooh... a bit tougher!  Good Luck.  This one is from 1924.

A company we all know well.  This shot is the WHOLE gang in 1978.

Also 1978, but a different and smaller company.  Take a guess.

No, it's not a telephone.  You'll be surprised when you find out what it is.  This is the first commercial one sold in 1950.

This one goes well with the last device.  This is the earliest known prototype from 1928.

OK... the easiest of all.

Also very easy to guess what this is, but try to guess the price.  This is the first one ever sold.
