The High Life

Ever want to live in a tree?  Ever have a tree house?  I wouldn't mind living in one of these...

tree house design can be found in Kamishihoro, Hokkaido, Japan’s second largest island.

A restaurant 10m up a redwood tree, called the Yellow Treehouse cafe, designed by Pacific Environments Architects.

Ewok-style tree house. Tom Chudleigh, a Canadian carpenter has designed these hand crafted, eco-friendly houses, which can comfortably sleep four.  The interior is fitted with a working kitchen, a microwave, fridge and sink.  All this luxury does not come cheap, around $45,000 for the sphere alone and about $152,000 complete.

Here's the inside

A spiral staircase is a must!

I'll pass, or simply pass out due to the thin air at 30,000 ft.

Now this design should do nicely.  Yes, I think I'll build one in each state.
